2. Processing when visiting this website
This website is deliberately built to be lean. It uses no cookies, no tracking, no analytics tools, no social media plug-ins and no external fonts or scripts. All content is served exclusively from our own server. No data is therefore transmitted to third parties when you visit this site.
When you access the site, the hosting provider automatically records server log files transmitted by your browser. These are:
- the page visited or name of the file requested
- date and time of the request
- volume of data transferred and notification of successful retrieval
- browser type and version
- the user's operating system
- referrer URL
- IP address in shortened or anonymised form
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically flawless operation and the security of the website. Log files are deleted after seven days at the latest. This data is not merged with other data sources.
3. Contacting us by email
If you write to us via one of the links on this website, we process the data you provide (name, email address, content of your message) exclusively in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Your enquiry is deleted once it has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.
There is deliberately no contact form on this website — your message goes directly through your own email programme.
4. Processing in connection with an event
If you enter into an agreement with us, we collect the following information:
- form of address, first name, surname, where applicable also of employees
- a valid email address
- postal address
- telephone number (landline and/or mobile)
- information required in the course of providing the service
- notes as well as, where applicable, photographs and video recordings during the events
This data is collected in order to identify you as a customer, to advise you appropriately and provide the agreed services, to correspond with you, for invoicing, and for handling any liability claims and asserting claims.
Processing takes place at your request and is necessary under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the provision of our service and the mutual fulfilment of obligations arising from the contract. The personal data collected is stored until the statutory retention period expires (in most cases six years; photos and videos three years after the end of the calendar year in which the engagement ended) and is then deleted, unless we are obliged under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR to store it for longer due to tax and commercial retention and documentation obligations, or you have consented to longer storage under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
5. Disclosure of data to third parties
Your personal data is not transferred to third parties — with the exception of photographs and video recordings. Where you have consented, the recordings may be published on the website, on the controller's social media channels and in radio, TV or print media (including books), and thus passed on to third parties.
6. Your rights
You have the right:
- under Art. 7(3) GDPR, to withdraw your consent at any time. As a result, we may no longer continue the data processing based on that consent;
- under Art. 15 GDPR, to request information about the personal data we process about you — in particular the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients, the intended storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, and the origin of your data;
- under Art. 16 GDPR, to request without undue delay the correction of inaccurate personal data or the completion of your personal data stored by us;
- under Art. 17 GDPR, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
- under Art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data;
- under Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to request its transmission to another controller;
- under Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — usually the authority of your habitual residence or place of work.
7. Right to object
Where your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right under Art. 21 GDPR to object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. This website is delivered exclusively encrypted via HTTPS (TLS). We also use technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons.
